John Dodson, a native to the Atlanta area, who grew up in South Fulton County Georgia along the South Fulton Parkway. Well before the South Fulton Parkway ever existed. Early on in John’s life he worked hands-on with his father clearing land, building dams, grading streets, and preparing lots. Operating dozers and dump trucks gave John a full understanding of what it takes (time, cost and equipment) to prepare the land for construction and other purposes. Not many real estate agents know the difference between a sheep’s foot and a motor grader, John certainly does.

Advertising Agency Experience
The unusual characteristic about his approach to real estate is his career prior to becoming a real estate agent. John was the principal of J. Shannon Design, Inc., a successful marketing and design agency of 19 years. John’s agency was there at the birth of the internet and capitalized on this monumental change in the way people communicate. John was at the forefront of the online marketing revolution working with companies like Coca-Cola, Cingular, and IBM.
